Inkling combines native text, image, and audio handling with 975 billion total parameters and 41 billion active per token. Thinking Machines Lab places its 1M-token context in a 66-layer sparse MoE with global and local attention and names Inkling Small as another model in the family.

The model card lists tool calls, variable thinking effort, and access through Tinker or other providers. The weights are downloadable, but the company says BF16 needs at least about 2 TB of VRAM and NVFP4 still needs around 600 GB. Audio inputs should ideally be no longer than 20 minutes.
