Nemotron 3.5 Lightning uses a 30-billion-parameter MoE with 3 billion active parameters and multi-token prediction. NVIDIA emphasizes English and several programming languages. The checkpoint is therefore aimed at coding and controllable reasoning rather than chat alone.
NVIDIA releases Lightning in BF16 and the more compact NVFP4 format. The model card advertises up to 1M context tokens and distinguishes memory-bound inference on a single H100 from validated configurations using multiple GPUs.
