Nemotron 3.5 Bolt 74B A9B is a hybrid MoE model with 74 billion total parameters and 9 billion active parameters. Its BF16 config specifies 262,144 context tokens. It accepts text, images, and video, returns text, and uses OpenMDW 1.1.

Alongside BF16, NVIDIA publishes an IQ2_XXS quantization designed for a 24 GB deployment. Its results remain separate from BF16 in the benchmark research.

Architecture
Mamba-2, Transformer, and MoE hybrid with a vision encoder; the model card says it is derived from Super VL.Source
Context window
The BF16 config sets max_position_embeddings to 262,144 tokens. NVIDIA describes this rounded as 256K.Source
Reasoning and tools
Reasoning mode, tool calling, and local agentic tasks are documented.Source
Video input
MP4 video up to 2 minutes. The model-card example lists up to 1 FPS and 128 frames for 1080p, and up to 2 FPS and 256 frames for lower resolutions such as 720p. These frame counts describe sampling recipes, not a separate universal limit.Source
Data cutoff
The model card lists May 2026 as the post-training data cutoff.Source
Quantized release
The separately published 24 GB IQ2_XXS version is a quantization of the same model family and does not receive a separate profile.Source
Hosted price
No ongoing API price is documented for NVIDIA NIM. Open weights do not imply free hosted API access.Source
