Compared with Sora 2, Sora 2 Pro favored higher visual quality and more stable results, with 1080p landscape or portrait exports and clips of up to 20 seconds.
OpenAI removed both Sora 2 aliases and the Videos API on September 24, 2026. Sora 2 Pro therefore belongs to the discontinued Sora generation; no direct replacement API is available.
Text-to-video and image-to-video remain separate. Their input tasks differ, so they do not receive a combined overall rank.
