MiniMax M1 was MiniMax’s first openly available large-scale hybrid-reasoning checkpoint. It combines 456B total parameters, 45.9B active parameters, and up to 1M tokens of context with hybrid attention aimed at long reasoning traces and large inputs. API access complements local use of the weights.
MiniMax says M1 was developed from the text model in MiniMax-01.
