Cohere
Aya Vision 32B extends Cohere's multilingual Aya approach with visual inputs. The open vision-language model accepts text and images for OCR, image captioning, visual reasoning, summarization, visual question answering, and code from images. Its vision encoder is based on SigLIP2 and connects to the Aya Expanse language model through a multimodal adapter.
The model card names 23 languages, 32 billion parameters, and up to twelve image tiles plus a thumbnail per request. Output remains text-based. Aya Vision 8B is the smaller multimodal family variant.
One SVG prompt and fixed output settings. Captures are shown only with 0 reported reasoning tokens or documented lack of reasoning controls. Identical test conditions do not make the models' internal compute identical.
