Pro and Max: New Cowork tasks run in the cloud
October 6, 2026
Since October 6, 2026, new Cowork tasks on Pro and Max run in the cloud across all surfaces. Tasks started on your computer before then stay local. Create designs, decks, and docs in any conversation
September 16, 2026
You can now ask for a design, deck, or document in any conversation with Claude, including in Claude Code and the Artifacts tab, and edit it with Claude or directly as you work. Claude Design works inside your conversations with all of its features, including on-canvas editing and importing your design system. Claude Slides gives presentations their own starting point, and Claude Docs is a new way to write living documents with Claude and your team. Artifacts, including Claude Design, Claude Slides, and Claude Docs, are available on every plan, including Free. On Enterprise plans, Claude Design, Claude Slides, and Claude Docs are in beta and off by default until an owner turns them on. Learn more in What are artifacts and how do I use them? and Get started with Claude Docs.
Claude Cowork comes to every conversation
September 16, 2026
We're rolling out a new Claude experience that makes everything Claude Cowork does available from any conversation. Ask a quick question or hand Claude a bigger task, like a report, spreadsheet, or presentation, without choosing a mode first. Your chats, Cowork tasks, projects, connectors, and skills carry over. The new experience is rolling out gradually to Pro and Max plans on web, desktop, and mobile. Learn more in Claude Cowork and chat are one Claude.
Launching Salesforce in Claude (beta)
September 15, 2026
We've launched Salesforce in Claude, a plugin that brings a seller’s accounts, opportunities, and pipeline into Claude with 37 pre-built sales skills. Prep a call, review a deal, create a pipeline dashboard, and send your forecast all from Claude. It’s now available in beta on all paid plans for organizations Salesforce approves through its beta sign-up. For more information, see our blog post: Bringing Salesforce into Claude.
Smart reports (beta)
September 10, 2026
We’ve launched smart reports, which analyze how a team uses Claude and report on the work getting done, what it costs, where sessions run into friction, and which repeated patterns are worth packaging as shared skills. Smart reports are available in beta on Claude Enterprise plans. Learn more in Get started with smart reports.

Memory in Claude Cowork, editable topics, and a sensitive topics setting
August 25, 2026
Memory now works across chat and Cowork in the cloud. Everything Claude remembers is listed under Topics in Settings > Memory, where you can edit or delete any item. Topics such as health or beliefs stay out of memory unless you turn on Include sensitive topics in memory. Memory is on by default for Free, Pro, and Max plans and off by default for Team and Enterprise organizations. See Use Claude's chat search and memory to build on previous context.
Skill and plugin security scanning (beta)
August 6, 2026
Enterprise plans can now turn on skill and plugin security scanning to automatically check third-party skills and plugins for malicious content when someone uploads or edits them. For more information, see Get started with skill and plugin scanning.

HIPAA configuration for your Claude organizations is now self-serve
July 14, 2026
You can now manage HIPAA readiness for your Claude organizations yourself. This applies to both Claude Enterprise and the Claude Platform (API). In each product, an eligible admin can review the Business Associate Agreement (BAA), download the implementation guide, and enable the HIPAA configuration in a single flow. For more information, refer to HIPAA-ready Enterprise plans and HIPAA readiness for Claude API.
A new way to reflect with Claude
July 9, 2026
Your monthly recap is a new feature at Settings > Reflect that shows you the topics you spent time on, your most active day and peak hour, and observations about how you work with Claude. It's in beta on Free, Pro, and Max plans on the web and Claude Desktop, and requires memory to be on. Alongside it, Settings > Time and focus lets you set optional break reminders and quiet hours. For more information, refer to See your monthly recap and Set break reminders and quiet hours.
Write tools for the Microsoft 365 connector
July 7, 2026
The Microsoft 365 connector now goes beyond search. With write tools enabled, Claude can draft, send, and organize email, manage calendar events, update mailbox settings, and create and update files in OneDrive and SharePoint. Read and search tools work as before, and Teams remains read-only. Before members can use write tools, a Microsoft Entra administrator needs to consent to the updated permission set and an admin needs to enable them for the organization. For more information, see Set up the Microsoft 365 connector and Connect to Microsoft 365.
Claude Cowork on web and mobile
July 7, 2026
Claude Cowork is now available on web and mobile in addition to desktop. We are rolling this capability out over the next several weeks starting with the Max plan, with more plans to follow. Cowork runs your sessions remotely (in beta), so your sessions and files are saved to your Claude account and go where you go, on any device. Work continues when you close your laptop, and scheduled tasks run with no device online. Chat and Cowork also share one home now, with one place for your projects and artifacts across both. For more information, see Use Claude Cowork on web, desktop, and mobile.

Edit Claude’s drafts in place
June 12, 2026
When Claude writes a draft in chat or Claude Cowork (a report, a plan, a brief), it opens right beside your chat. Highlight the part you want changed, type the change, and Claude makes the edit right where you marked it. No switching apps, no re-describing paragraphs in chat. For more information, see Work with artifacts.
