It starts from the open Kimi K2.6, which Sakana further trained on its own data for Japanese, Japanese business writing, and more neutral answers. Unlike Sakana Fugu, Namazu does not orchestrate other models but runs as a single model behind an OpenAI-compatible API.

Web search and code execution are built in and billed separately. According to Sakana, the service is not yet available in the EU/EEA, the UK, or Switzerland.
