Nace says it builds small models for professional work, each trained for one job so that it can be audited. In May 2026 the company announced a seed round of 21.5 million US dollars led by Walden Catalyst, with General Catalyst participating.
Its offer includes Drex, decision models with open weights that return a probability for each supplied answer option instead of generating text, and Nace Document Processing for extracting values from documents. Drex Max Finance, a variant of Drex Max trained further on financial decisions, was released on 2 November 2026.
