Voice input for macOS

Say it. Your Mac writes it.

VoiceEverywhere turns your voice into text and inserts it wherever your cursor is. Transcription runs locally on your Mac.

Notes

I will send you the revised version this afternoon.

  1. Press your hotkey
  2. Speak
  3. Text appears at the cursor

One hotkey is enough

Dictate without leaving your work

You are writing an email, working on a document, or answering a message. Press your global hotkey, speak, and VoiceEverywhere inserts the text at the current cursor position.

There is no separate window to copy from. Your recording does not need to be uploaded to a cloud transcription service first.

What you get

A small app with one clear job.

Dictate system-wide

VoiceEverywhere works anywhere macOS can insert text, including browsers, email, notes, documents, and chats.

Transcribe locally

Speech recognition runs locally on your Mac. Your recording is not sent to a cloud service for transcription.

A strong model is included

Whisper Large v3 Turbo Q5 is included. You can select another compatible local model file in Settings if you need one.

Teach it your words

Vocabulary hints help with names and specialist terms. Correction rules replace recurring errors automatically.

Choose whether to keep history

Transcript history is off by default. If you enable it, VoiceEverywhere keeps no more than 50 entries.

Clean up text locally

On macOS 26, Apple Intelligence can polish the transcript locally. The feature remains optional.

Know what you are buying

VoiceEverywhere is deliberately not a recording archive

The app focuses on quick voice input at the cursor. It is currently available for macOS only and does not replace meeting recording or file transcription.

Your voice stays with you

No cloud transcription in the background
