Computer History reaches more regions for Enterprise

Computer History is now available in the EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom for Enterprise users in the ChatGPT desktop app on macOS. It is off by default, requires Memories and must be enabled by a workspace admin before members can opt in.

ChatGPT Desktop uses website tools in its built-in browser

ChatGPT Work and Codex can use website tools through WebMCP in the built-in desktop browser. Website-access and confirmation rules remain in place.

ChatGPT Desktop launches a Linux preview

The desktop app is available in public preview for Ubuntu 24.04 and 26.04, Debian 13, and Fedora 43 and 44. Browser actions work there, but other desktop apps cannot yet be controlled.
